The last thing you want to be doing these summer holidays is thinking about your celebrant socials. Here are some tips to get you started before you pop your ‘out of office’ on your emails ahead of your break… (if you're taking one, of course!)
Schedule them in Meta to post to both your Facebook and Instagram pages. Pop your favourite posts on your Google page, too.
ONE: Your favourite ‘summer love’ moments
Schedule a carousel or reel of past ceremonies that scream summer - sunshine, bare feet, laughter, outdoor vows. Add a caption about what you love most about summer ceremonies and let the images do the heavy lifting.
TWO: Your most-asked summer ceremony question
Answer one common question couples always ask in summer - heat, timings, shade, barefoot guests, microphones in the wind. Helpful, reassuring, and evergreen content.
THREE: A celebrant values post
Share a post about what matters most to you as a celebrant - inclusivity, calm energy, storytelling, joy, humour. This builds connection without needing fresh content while you’re away.
FOUR: A ‘meet your celebrant’ throwback
Reintroduce yourself using a favourite photo and a short “this is me and why I do this work” caption. Perfect for couples discovering you while you’re offline.
FIVE: Your favourite ceremony reading (or quote)
Post a beautiful excerpt from a ceremony reading that suits summer vibes - love, light, adventure, commitment. These always save well and feel timeless.
SIX: Summer ceremony tips carousel
Create a simple, practical carousel: hydration, shade, timing, footwear, backup plans. It positions you as experienced and thoughtful - without selling.
SEVEN: A behind-the-scenes celebrant moment
A candid photo of you mid-ceremony, mic in hand, laughing with a couple, or waiting quietly before guests arrive. Caption it with a line about the privilege of the role.
EIGHT: Your booking process explained
Schedule a post explaining what happens when couples enquire with you - first contact, meetings, writing the ceremony, the big day. This reduces friction while you’re away.
NINE: A testimonial or kind words post
Share a lovely line from a past couple (or paraphrase it if needed). Social proof works quietly in the background while you’re on holiday.
TEN: Your ‘out of office, but still here’ post
Let people know you’re on a short break, when you’ll reply, and that enquiries are always welcome. Calm, warm, professional - and very on-brand for celebrants.
(NB: #10 really should be your first scheduled post, but totally up to you!)
