APM:

We are encouraging you to consider joining the Southern Region CANZ committee, as there will possibly be three members stepping down this year.

A great opportunity for members to bring new ideas to our Southern group. We have fun meeting and assisting fellow celebrants. Please let Edie know if you have anything to put on the agenda, prior to the meeting, especially if you are interested in being on the Southern Region executive team.

11.30 – 12.15pm

Fashion Initiative:

There will be a Fashion initiative on how and what to and what not to wear as a Celebrant when officiating at Funerals and Weddings. This will be presented by Esther Smith-Devaney who will enlighten us on some of her experiences and show us a range of designer garments.

12.15 – 1pm

Lunch

1 – 3pm

‘It’s All About Love’:

A workshop not to be missed! What a privilege to have this very talented Actress, Comedian, Celebrant, Guest speaker Pinky Agnew (MNZM, VCANZ) come to Dunedin where she will debut her new presentation.

Pinky draws on everything from ancient history, wildlife documentaries and her own learned experience of 27 years to share an inspirational, funny, real perspective on our lives as celebrants.

Pinky challenges us to look at the philosophies that underpin our work, and the values and the aroha we bring to it. In this session Pinky asks “Why do we do what we do, and why do most people not even know what we do, unless we fail to do it!”

The cost for the event:

Lunch: $20 for members and $30 for non-members

Please let us know if you have any dietary preferences.

Sales table:

Each meeting we enjoy the opportunity to share produce from our gardens, clothing, books, and any other items. We donate food items to a chosen food bank so please bring something to contribute to this. Items can be sold with some of the dollar value going to the charity and some to the seller, if this is their choice.

Thank you, we look forward to having you at this APM and workshop event!
