Death Cafe Dunedin
This meeting is not a talk, counselling, or answers to your questions, but a safe, respectful place to talk about death and dying as part of our life's journey.
Location: The Dish Cafe & Bar, 8 Stafford Street, Dunedin
Are you thinking about death and dying?
A Death Cafe meeting is not a talk, not counselling, not answers to your questions, but a safe, respectful platform to talk about death and dying as part of our life's journey.
Let's bring death back to life and return the subject to normality!
The Death Cafe movement started in 2011 in the UK and has grown into an international concept. It is not one person's "weird idea" but a need for many to share their ideas, fears, hopes and experiences around death.
My name is Anke. I am someone who has now worked with the whole wheel of life in births, marriages and deaths as a childbirth educator and celebrant. I have just taken over the Death Cafe Dunedin from Shirley, and look forward to welcoming you at this first meeting at the DISH Cafe on Stafford Street. There is no admission fee. We are, however, grateful to The Petri/Dish to host us, and in return I would ask that everybody please consumes a coffee or tea, delicious snack or meal from their menu to reward their generosity. Thank you!
Please share the event with those you believe might be interested! See you on 5th April 10 am at The Dish! :)
